INTRODUCTION
TO WILD MUSHROOMS: Spring Study & Summer Forays Mycologist Sue Van Hook will present an introduction to wild mushrooms, followed by multiple mushroom forays throughout spring and summer. You are invited to attend as many as you'd like, but first you need to learn the basics of identifying the groups of fungi. If you attend any spring lecture, then you have access to the summer collecting forays. This is to avoid reteaching the basics during weekend forays, so you can really advance your identification skills and enjoy more species. Be sure to bring a notebook and pen. Sue will have copies of How to Identify Mushrooms to Genus I: Macroscopic Features by David L. Largent for sale ($20).
