11th    Animal Tracking Trek
            Winter is the time to increase your awareness of this ancient skill. Bring a lunch- we will eat beside a fire- and dress for the weather.
            You should be in good physical condition. 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. $30

19th-23rd      Kids Winter Camp
            Spend some time unplugged this Winter Recess. We'll be exploring the surrounding 1,000 acres tracking, setting up camp, lighting fires,
            and honing wilderness skills. We will visit the Black Tupelo's (see below) and a Heron Rookery. Boys and Girls, ages 10-14.
            9 a.m.-4:00 p.m. $30 per day. Pack a lunch and dress for the weather.

24th      Ancient Tree Trek
            Come meet NY's second oldest known stand of trees, the Black Tupelo's of the Lincoln Mountain State Forest, here in Kawing Crow's backyard.
            On route to these 800 year old beings, we will also learn to identify many other species of trees that call this forest home, in addition to the
            animal tracks of otter, fisher, coyote, deer, squirrel, and possibly even Moose! Pack a lunch and dress for the weather.
            9 a.m.-3 p.m. $30 per person

25th     Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth"
            We are getting together to watch Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth"- a powerful message about the state of the environment and what it means for
            humanity. The world is becoming increasingly aware that Global Warming is a reality, and it is a shared challenge for all on the planet. After the
            showing we will have an open conversation about any topics that come up, and also information on how to get involved.

2nd      Full Sugar Moon Walk, Talk & Fire Celebration       
          Come celebrate the last full moon walk of the season with a stroll through the moon light and a camp fire in the woods, then enjoy snacks
          and a cup of tea or hot cocoa by the woodstove!    6:30 to 9 pm $5-

          Come as a family and learn outdoor winter skills together! Winter survival, warm camping, tracking & exploring! Pack a lunch, dress for
          the weather and bring your enthusiasm for learning. 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. $15 per person

Indoor programs take place in our woodstove-heated lodge, while outside workshops utilize our 60 acres
